SOURCING SURVEY Here are the February, 2011 rankings of the most productive sources of recruitment according to recruiters.
Commentary: The top two sources remained the same as last year with Employee Referrals retaining the top spot. The number three spot was a surprise compared to previous years as Agencies made a strong showing for 40% of the respondents, possibly those who employed RPO’s. Social Networking appeared for the very first time with a 67% utilization rate. The remainder of the list shows that traditional methods still produce as well. Other notable facts: the average number of sources reportedly used by respondents was 6.5; 33% of the respondents used 5 or less sources; only 20% reported using (or tracking) 10 or more sources.
